The studio is thrilled to announce that Esther Boesche will be showcasing her work in the highly anticipated Inner Worlds, Outer Worlds exhibition at Saint Mark’s Arts! This captivating group exhibition explores the intersection of personal introspection and outward expression, bringing together thought-provoking works that delve into identity, perception, and the human experience.
Esther will be presenting pieces from her acclaimed series, I Am You. Here striking self-portraits, created using double exposure photography, reveal layers of emotion and personality, capturing the complexities of identity in a single image. Each piece invites viewers to reflect on the multifaceted nature of selfhood and consider the subtle interplay between who we are and how we present ourselves to the world.

Curated by London-based Liv Bland, Inner Worlds/Outer Forms is an exploration of the intricate relationship between the body and the mind. It examines how the physical forms depicted within artworks often serve as metaphors for the psychological states of the artists who create them. Through abstract and reality-blurring artworks, this exhibition delves into how our daily existences’ physical and psychological states influence and reflect one another, offering viewers a dynamic space to contemplate the connection between our tangible and intangible selves.
This exhibition highlights the fresh voices in the art world who are using metaphysical, abstract, and dreamlike artworks to challenge and expand our perceptions of reality, merging bodily and mental experiences in innovative ways.
